✨ How to Use the AI Assistant to Rewrite Article Descriptions

SmoothStay now includes a built-in AI Assistant (currently in beta) that helps you instantly polish and rewrite your article descriptions — making guest communication smoother, more professional, and aligned with your brand voice.

🧠 What it does

The AI Assistant rewrites your article description with improved clarity, tone, and structure — based on the voice you've selected in your account settings. It’s specifically trained for hospitality use cases to help you deliver confident, friendly, and guest-ready communication in seconds.

✍️ Minimum character requirement

To generate a rewrite, your original article description must be at least 40 characters long. This helps the AI understand the intent and context before suggesting improvements.

🎨 Choose your tone

The assistant adapts to the tone you've selected in Settings > AI tab. Choose the voice that best fits your brand:

Friendly & Casual – Use when you want to sound warm and approachable.
Professional & Polite – Use for business-like but warm presentation (boutique hotels, corporate stays).
Luxury & Formal – Use when the property has a premium, upscale brand.
Concierge / Hospitality Pro – Service-oriented, confident, and warm.
Neutral / Balanced – Clean, informative, lightly warm—ideal for most.

You can update your default tone at any time — it will apply to all future AI-assisted rewrites.

🚀 How to use it

Go to Content and navigate to the Article you'd like to update.
In the Content tab scroll down to the subsection Body content. Write at least 40 characters in the editor and click the Assistant button (top right).
Click on Rewrite and a preview popup will show the AI-suggested rewrite.
Review the changes, then click Apply changes to replace the original.

⚠️ Changes are permanent once applied. Please review carefully before confirming, as this action cannot be undone.
