How to share my guidebook
SmoothStay gives you three flexible ways to share your digital guidebook, each designed for different use cases and security needs. Choose the right sharing method based on who you're sharing with and what level of access control you need.

Tip: You’re not limited to just one way of sharing—general share links, reservation links, and public links can all be used together or separately as needed. These access types are not mutually exclusive, so you can keep your guidebook public for general visitors, send reservation links with time-based restrictions to specific guests for sensitive information, and use general share links for quick sharing. Choose the right combination to fit your property’s needs and guest experience.
You'll find it in the Properties list (for full guidebook links), throughout the Content Hub on categories, subcategories, and articles (for deep links to specific content), and in the Reservations list (for guest-specific reservation links). The share popup opens automatically and adapts based on what you're sharing.
Look for the following sharing icon in the properties list, content hub and reservations section to open the share popup:
The popup dynamically adjusts based on your selection:
Property Selection: Automatically populated based on where you clicked share, or select from dropdown.
Type of Access:
General share link - Secure quick sharing without time-based restrictions
Reservation link - Time-based access to restricted articles
Public link - If enabled, this option will be shown in the popup
Link Preview: Shows the exact URL that will be generated.
Quick Actions:
Copy link - Copy to clipboard
Visit - Preview what guests will see
Generate QR - Create QR code for printing
